A Fun Time in OKC

Mel and I made a trip to OKC to see Jett's school program; then, the next morning he flew out to Myrtle Beach for his annual golfing trip with the Surrey guys.

A cute program!  Jett said his lines clearly!  It did not seem as though he was nervous at all!

After getting Mel to the airport for his flight, I headed to Amberlea's house. We took Jett to school then spent a fun day shopping.  Lunch was at Ted's - Yum!  

Jett had an afternoon performance for his program.  Afterwards, he and I came to the farm.  He was my assistant farm hand!

Our New Comfy Recliners

After Mel's chair had a problem I decided it was time for new chairs.  I found what I wanted online; but no furniture store in our area had them.  To order and get the recliners would take 6 weeks.
A furniture store in OKC had them in stock so Mel and I made a trip to get new recliners.  He sat in one to make sure it was comfy and what he liked.  It was!
After having them loaded we enjoyed lunch at Shorty Small's then came home.

A wise purchase we made!
