Jacob and Mathew On the Farm

We left Texas around 7:00 a.m for the farm.

Our 2 farm hands ready for work!

Breakfast was at the Country Kitchen in Lampasas, Texas.

School work was started for the week.

Our handsome farm hands!

Time for thee bull to be moved from one pasture to another.  The cows and bull were put in the corral, then let the cows out so we could load the bull in the trailer.

Jake waited while Grandpop brought the cows up from the pasture.

Mat tended the gate when it was time to pull the trailer up to the loading chute.

While at the Annex for the bull, the boys loaded the chicken coop to move to the backyard at the house.

Time to paint the metal fence

The boys visited with Grammy.

Play time with the "dolly"

In the evening the boys played catch.

The boys first day on the farm which was a busy one!

Visiting the Woods Family

Time to head to Texas to visit the Woods Family.  Barbeque and all the fixings were delicious!  Mathew had selected Oreo cake and ice cream for his birthday dessert.

What a fun time just visiting and enjoying spending time together!

Baby Chicks

Time to purchase baby chicks to add to and replace the 3 we now have.

Chicken Coop

Mel and I decided to purchase a new chicken coop and have it behind the house.  Hoping that chicken hawks and other predators would be less likely around the house, the chickens could"free range" around the yard.
