The Girls Come to the Farm

Emma and McKaylea came home with us after the Patriots football game.
We had fun and enjoyed the time shared with them!

 Friday Night
The football game

Headed home to the farm!

Saturday
The girls worked on fleece lounge pants.

McKaylea peeled potatoes for me while Emma was sewing.

The horses enjoyed attention from McKaylea when she threw the potato peelings over the fence.

The "Sidewinder" - a handy device to refill bobbins!

Of course, the beaters have to be licked!!

McKaylea thought Grandpop was hungry.  She gave him the big salad fork.

Time for Chores

Sunday
We went to Arbuckle Wilderness.  On the way we stopped for hot chocolate at Braum's.

Talk about "up close and personal" - this camel was far from shy!!

A bite was taken out of McKaylea's cup.

How funny the donkey was!  He would open his mouth for you to drop the food in!

We got pizza to take home for lunch.

Playing Barbie

We all worked on the fence at the Annex.

In the head gate - a funny story - Emma was in the head gate for a picture.  Grandpop hollered at her asking where the pliers were.  She quickly raised up and hit her head on the bars at the top of the head gate!

 Their completed pjs

Happy 11th Birthday to McKaylea!!
It's hard to believe she is that big!!

Meeting Mom and the boys

What a fun time we had with the girls!  What sweet, thoughtful, loving and helpful girls!!
Many memories were made!
