Snow fell overnight at our house to make it a beautiful sight. As we drove south, there was no snow at Sulphur, but rain was falling. Texas was getting their share of rain which they desperately need.

Mel and I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel at Gainesville.
Amberlea and Jett were riding the Heartland Flyer to Gainesville where we would meet them.

A fun ride for them! Jett said this was his first time to ride a train in the United States.
They had ridden trains in Germany and Spain.

After everyone had arrived, we had our meal at Esparza's Mexican Restaurant (as we have done the previous 3 years).
