Monday, June 8th

We began the day with coffee and breakfast.  The boys then went to the barn to help Grandpop.  The work stopped at 9:00 a.m. since Mel needed to drive the church bus to Shawnee.  12 of the Youth Group was going to Super Summer at OBU.  We stopped to get the Youth Director, then ate at McAlisters (our first time to eat there).  After the kids unloaded their luggage, we headed back home.
Later we did chores, then watched the movie, Apollo 13.
Believe it or not, we did finish the chicken and the sides!
