Looks Like Christmas

With our Christmas tree up, decorations out and gifts wrapped we had been getting ready for Christmas; however, with the temperatures being in the 60's and 70's for several days, it was hard to believe Christmas was quickly approaching.
Yesterday Mother Nature helped by the beautiful snow.  It was just enough snow to look beautiful, but not cause too many problems.  There was some ice for a short time but didn't last long.  The cold temps sure put a quickness in our step.
It was a wonderful day to be inside and make homemade candy of peanut brittle and chocolate covered peanuts.

A thin layer of ice was on our front porch and sidewalk.
