Update on the Chicks & Hens

Our chicks are doing quite well.  Quite the young ladies they are!  Unfortunately. we did lose 1 to some critter one afternoon.  Now they are allowed to be out of the pen during the morning, then put in their pen before lunch.
The 3 older hens stay out all day since they seem to be "experienced" in dodging the critters.
They have decided their preferred place to lay eggs is on a serving cart I have on the patio.  It sure makes it easy to gather eggs - just walk out the back door!

After they continued laying on the cart I put a couple of nests for them on the cart.
