Wednesday, June 17th

Our morning began with coffee, then we had chocolate chip butterscotch pancakes.  All the kids except Emma went to the barn with Grandpop.  Emma and I went to Braum's for milk and a few items, then we delivered meals for the Senior Citizens.
At the barn the kids practiced roping a barstool, built with wood scraps, etc.
Tacos, beans and rice was our lunch and for dessert we had homemade vanilla ice cream.
Tropical Storm Bill moved into our area around 10 in the morning.  The afternoon was spent playing games and later in the evening watching the movie, North to Alaska with John Wayne.  Tropical Storm Bill dumped 6 plus inches of rain on our area.  A total of 10 inches of rain fell at the farm during the past week.  Wow!  A lot of rain!!

Mat put a handle on the ax.

Roping!

Emma was not interested in roping.

Don't you just love the look!!
