Wednesday with the Grandkids

Our day began with coffee (never a morning without coffee) and then chocolate chip pancakes and bacon.
The girls and I delivered meals for the Senior Citizens and the boys helped Grandpop at the barn.

Waiting for the meals to be packed and ready

We had quite the system with Emma giving me the Easter treat bag and the tray and McKaylea giving me the dessert container!!

We enjoyed a lunch of smoked sausage, tator tots, peas then dump cake was our dessert.
Afterwards we played the game, Life on the Farm.
Since no one was a winner on our game  we took a break and just left it.  Play would continue tomorrow.

Playing Outside

Break Time!

Jake decided he would do squats with Emma on his shoulders.
Grandmom was nervous about this!

The funny story for today - Mat let his plate rest on top of the dishwashing bottle.  After filling his plate, he licked his fingers.  Guess what - Mat had a soapy taste in his mouth and he hadn't even said a bad word (that was the teasing he took from siblings)!

Our movie for tonight was "Kisses for My President".  A black and white movie made in 1964 starring Fred MacMurray and Polly Bergen.  The kids really enjoyed this old movie!

Fun and work on the Farm!!
