Afterwards we made a stop at Dollar General for some needed snacks and coke!
Mat was concerned he would look shorter in this picture because he wasn't wearing his boots and Jake was wearing his shoes!
So, in Mat's defense, I took another picture of them, both wearing shoes!!

Our lunch for today was roast, carrots and potatoes cooked together!! I think it was enjoyed by all!!
Later in the day, the boys took our trash to the bin, and then, brought the "orange horse" back for farm work on Monday!
I suppose the term "boys will be boys" applies even as they get older. What boy could resist a water puddle in the driveway?? Jake didn't!! Mat didn't comment!!
Have we have enjoyed our week with these two. They are always helpful, considerate and just great young men!! How proud we are of them!!
