Grammy and Her Injured Finger

Grammy was outside walking around when she fell.  She sure injured her ring finger on her right hand.  The skin was torn back.  Not knowing if the doctor would be able to stitch her wound or not, we took her to the emergency room so they could at least clean it up and do what was necessary.  The ER doctor did a great job "stitching her finger" with 18 stitches.  The bandage comes off after 24 hours and for 4 days she cannot get it wet, the stitches will stay in for 14 days before being removed.  With care, antibiotics and time the finger should heal properly.
