After our morning coffee we had bacon and biscuits with home-made plum jelly.
We went to the barn to get buckets for the garden. Green beans were to be picked and cabbage gathered.
The kids gave Buddy attention while I gathered up buckets.

Shelton had planted 65 heads of cabbage. We had used some and given some away. Now it was time to gather the remaining 30 something heads!!
Cabbage Patch Kids (for real)
Joe and Margaret came to get cabbage, potatoes and green beans.
We have the potatoes spread out on the tarp to dry after hosing them off.
Grammy stopped by on her way to the Center.
She had a package of orange slices for the kids.
Rest on the patio
After lunch of spaghetti, fresh green beans, corn and garlic toast, the kids did Velvet Art.
Chore Time
The evening meal was nachos.
McKaylea helped me snap green beans.
What a great job she did!!
We finished the last half of "Horse Whisperer". Everyone was tired and ready for a good nights rest!
