Wednesday, June 8th

After coffee, the kids had Pop Tarts for breakfast.  They drove their ATVs.
Today was meal delivery for the Senior Citizens' Center.  We took several heads of cabbage we gathered to the Center.

Waiting for the meals to be prepared for delivery

We had quite the system for the meal delivery.  Emma handed me the tray;  Jett handed me the toast; and McKaylea handed me the dessert.  What good helpers!!
In fact, they had the next stop's meal ready when I got back in the pick-up.

Returning empty containers

Grammy was at the Center.  They gave her a hug.

After delivering meals, we went to Walmart for the kids to spend some of their farm money.

For experience, each one checked out.

Lunch buffet at Mazzio's!!

Jett bought a Pokemon Game with his money.
The kids played a game.

Emma bought fabric for a quilt.
I asked her if she knew how to iron (I thought she did).  She said she did.  I told her to be careful not to burn herself.  A little while later she came in the kitchen and showed me her arm - she had touched the iron while unplugging it.  Ouch!!

McKaylea bought a wooden birdhouse.

Snack time

Emma cut out her squares.

Time for a game of checkers!

Time to sew!

Slip N Slide Fun!

Jett painted his wooden tractor.

Grandpop showed the kids how to check the gas gauge of the ATVs.  McKaylea's needed refueling.

Supper was soup and ice cream.  They drove the ATVs.  We watched the movie, "Big Game", where a 13 year old saved the President after his plane was shot down.

The kids wanted to sleep in the storage building in the back yard.  I really didn't expect them to stay the whole night!

Sound asleep!!

The storage building where they spent the night

A busy fun day filled with many memories!!
