Our trusty map on which I make our notes
Several of the small towns we went through had a town square with the court house in the center.
The signs we followed for our route
A neat store where we stopped to shop, but they were closed. We plan to stop when we return.
Our greeting crew - Emma and McKaylea were sitting on the porch waiting for us.
So good to see them!
Relaxing for a while
Later we went to eat at Casa Ole
A cute picture of Emma's expression (She just really was saying something when I snapped the photo.)
When leaving the restaurant, Mat had some nachos left. He did not want to take them home because of too many jalapeños on them. Jake said, "They knew you could take the heat!"While driving Jake to the birthday party, I asked about any girlfriends. He replied, "I have many offers from girls, but I just have one! "
Jacob went to a "special friend's" birthday party
Friends arriving
Later in the day it was time for home-made chocolate malts! Yum! Yum!!
A fun time with the Woods' Family!
