Time for Buttercup to "shine" in the June horse show.
Buttercup was not quite ready to load in the trailer. She had been to a clinic all day the day before and seemed to prefer to stay on the farm instead. After a little coaxing, she loaded just fine.
Time to "saddle up"
I put her leg protectors on while Mel saddled her.

The weather was hot so we enjoyed the shade tree!
Since it was so hot, we left right after Mel's last entry and didn't stay for the final results.
Update on results: Mel won 3rd in reining; 14th in trail; and 8th in cow.
