My Mother's Paring Knife

This is a very treasured item.  I have had my mother's paring knife for 25 years now.  You just can't seem to find any that are good as this one (maybe I'm prejudiced because it was Mom's).  Everyone in the family understands that it is Grandmom's special knife - so be careful with it.
I can still visualize my Mom sitting at her built-in lap board (when I was little I called it her "peel tator board") peeling fruits and vegetables with this knife.
