Moving Our Chicks

Our chicks have really grown.  We decided that we could put them with our 3 hens and rooster at the barn.  I had read that there is a "pecking order" for chickens so we expected some turmoil.
What seems to work well for us is to keep the baby chicks in a tote in the house, then move them outside to a small pen and coop when the weather warms up and the chicks grow,  and finally move them to the barn for their permanent home.

The coop goes first

Next we move their pen
