We can count on Joe to have plenty of change!
The trolley
We purchased an all-day trolley pass.
Downtown Cincinnati
Several people directed us to this location when we had asked for directions to the Taft Historical Site.
True, it is a Taft Museum; however, this was Taft's half-brother's home. Now it has a collection of the family's paintings, porcelains, and decorative pieces.
After double checking on-line and with the last trolley driver, we found out that Taft's house was a few miles north of downtown Cincinnati. We decided to drive to it.
William Howard Taft is the only man to serve as President (the 27th) and U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice.

We drove south of Cincinnati to Grant's birthplace.
Grant's house in Point Pleasant, Ohio where he was born
Time for us to head north for tomorrow's visit to Freemont and Mentor, Ohio
We spent the night at Findlay, Ohio, known as Flag City, U.S.A.
We had to try Dietsch Brothers Ice Cream! I had read about it and all the reviews were great!
Boy, do we agree! Their ice cream is delicious!!
So many choices for ice cream
The young man who waited on the 5 of us. He remembered each order correctly without writing anything down. We were very impressed!
Waiting for our ice cream
Mel decided we needed caramel popcorn for our trip. Each person had his/her own bag.
Another interesting, fact-filled and fun day!
