The Elliott Family went on a tour at a beach house with its own private beach. A meal was prepared for them.
The Woods Family, Mel and I were going to sightsee and shop at Cozumel. Vanilla was one thing I wanted to be sure to purchase!
Before breakfast, Mel checked out the dinner menu.

Grandpop was our "meeting place anchor". He sat on the bench and took care of our purchases. Different ones would check in with him periodically.

Facts about Cozumel
It is a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea and is a popular port of cruise ships.
Scuba diving, deep sea fishing and snorkeling are very popular. Tourism is their industry.
The island belongs to Cozumel Municipality of the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Highlights of the Day
Jake played basketball and ended up with a large blister on the ball of his foot. We advised him to keep it doctored and not let it become infected! Jake said, "Well, it's not trench foot yet!" Grandpop said, "No, but it could turn into hoof and mouth, then you have a medical or vet bill. When that happens in animals, you have to decide what outweighs the worth - vet bills or not"" Mat then added about an 18 year old dog that he saw at the clinic. The owners wanted it to live despite its health issues and the fact the dog had seemed to give up. Jake replied, "Wow Grandpop! I have really learned lessons of life from you!"
Jake's black tie was found!! Would you believe it was in his white shirt that was on the floor of the closet.
Grandpop told us about while he was waiting on the bench for us shoppers, an extra large lady sat down by him. She was very nice and visited with him. In a short time her family (all extremely large) came to get her. What a "large" family!
Jake tells stories about a co-worker that used the term "sassy pants" (with quite an accent). It is cute to hear him use that term!
Mitch teased Emma saying, "You are actually talking at dinner tonight!" She gave him quite the look! Jake then teased Mitch saying, "You must have found your "sassy pants" in the closet before dinner!"
The waiter brings mac and cheese to the kids every night since he now knows how they really like it.
Jake ended up helping others finish their dinner - I think we counted 4 plates he finished!
Amber wants Emma, Mat and Jake to go to the Thriller Dance tonight! (They did not make it.)
Jake's friend, the Arkansas girl, went for a prep guy! But he has "rebounded with Bree - who he just refers to as "just friends".
Mat added that Allison or aka Alissa is another girl Jake met who lives close to Corpus. Jake gave her his hat (we don't know the rest of this story). Two versions of the story exist: Mat says he told Jake to go get his hat as they were leaving. Jake's version is he was going to get it only Mat was "beat him to it" about the hat.
Mel's dance method - the tractor gear moving moves now had the stomach slap added.
Amber spends various times studying for her Boards Exam.
Mat said he hit his head on the ceiling 4 times when checking out the stories and pictures of the flooding in Florida shown on TV.
