We were at sea today, headed back to Galveston.
Of course, morning coffee is a must!
The beautiful early morning!
A glimpse of the sunrise
A beautiful morning!
The large movie screen that can be seen from the pool or the chairs
In each chair and lining the edge of the pool were towels folded into many different shapes.
Breakfast in the dining room
2 beautiful girls!
Emma's chocolate breakfast
The ladies selling Bingo cards
Using the blue dauber
We did not Bingo! When we were one square away from getting a Bingo, we did get to stand and yell, "Bubbly on the Dubbly!".
The ship's cruise director
Captain of the Breeze
Many of the employees on the ship
Information on debarkation tomorrow
McKaylea wore a hole in the bottoms of her swimming suit! Oh well, one less thing to pack!
Also, a good reason for a new suit!!
Guy's Pig and Anchor Restaurant on the ship
Standing in line for bbq
The boys were standing in the opposite line!
Yum! Yum!!
Delicious!
Today was Chocolate Extravaganza Day! Of course, that could NOT be missed!
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!!!
When coming back to the room, the boys were visiting with some girls. I stopped and introduced myself as their "Grandmom". Mel sent Jake the following text. We later told the boys we hoped we didn't embarrass them. The were good-natured boys!!
Our critter for today
Mel is always creative! Here he used his lanyard to hold his belt and shorts on the edge of the picture in the room!
Mat packing
Jake packing
We are always entertained by Jake's story-telling ability!!
Our cabin steward, Jonathan
A beautiful afternoon at sea!
Amberlea asked about the different flavors of ice cream to go with her cherry pie. The waiter just brought her all 3!
Another magic trick
Just look at our "movers and shakers"!!
Everyone took part!
Our waiters on the cruise - Worachart was from Thailand.
The waiters singing a farewell song
Highlights of the Day:
Jake managed to eat 2 slices of cake, 4 cookies and 1 slice of rum cake. Mat was upset that he missed out on the rum cake!
We found out that Bob Stoops had retired. Jake told the story about playing against Stoops"s son who played on the Norman North team. Jake said the Knights just got beat by 78 points! Notice the "just"!!
Mat had the "rare finds of the day" on the menu during the week: escargot, ox tongue, rabbit and frog legs!
The boys joked that they had "Miss Piggy" (bbq) at lunch, then "Kermit" (frog legs) at dinner.
On our deck (deck 8) just a few doors down, a security guard sat outside the cabin door 24 hours a day! The guards were there at least 3 days. Who knows what took place!!
2 bags of laundry were delivered to our room - not ours! Jonathan, our steward, took care of getting them to the right cabin.
Amberlea studied by the pool, in the room, on the balcony and at the beach house they visited on Friday. She is more than ready to get the "Boards Exam" out of the way!
The Elliott Family saw dolphins and flying fish from their balcony!
At dinner funny stories, happenings and experiences from the cruise as well as years ago were shared! So many laughs we had!!
