The IFR Rodeo

The International Finals Rodeo (IFR) was January 14th - 16th at the State Fair Arena in OKC. Grandpop suggested we all go on the 16th. Melodi's kids had never seen a rodeo and Jett was very small when he saw one.
With cowboy & cowgirl boots and hats, all were ready and excited!
Grandpop & I met the kids and Melodi & Bryan at the door with tickets. (Amberlea had to work the evening before and that night so she needed sleep.) Jett came with Melodi & Bryan. He was going to stay on the farm with us a few days. We were glad that Bryan's parents could join us at the rodeo.
Free straw hats were given to each child 12 and under. Grandpop took those hats to the car since the kids had their black hats.
The kids enjoyed the different events of the rodeo and especially the cotton candy!
