Mother Nature loves to keep people guessing I do believe. Since our kids were flying in on January 10th at DFW, the day before we had snow and some freezing mist. The weather reports said northern Texas would really have a storm. Just what we needed!
After praying and trusting God for His answer the roads were not bad at all later Monday morning when we needed to leave. Mel and I had no trouble whatsoever getting to DFW Airport.
The winter weather arrived on Sunday
After stopping at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, we stopped at 3 western stores for Mel to check out bits & halters for our horses. At one of the western stores 2 cats were out front when we went in the store. When we came out, this cat was on top of the car. We approached the car and the cat was not concerned. Mel unlocked the car and we got in, the cat did slide down the windshield and sat on the hood of the car. Mel & I are in the car looking at the cat and the cat is on the hood looking at us. After the car being started and being put in gear, the cat did jump off. We do not need another barn cat.
